Time To Change Postcards

I recently had the pleasure of contributing to the Time To Change campaign, drawing cartoons to combat mental health stigma. Dare Media commissioned me to join the project and the whole thing was one of the most enjoyable commissions I've had in a while.

Dare had already scripted a few strips which needed illustrating (I think they've already appeared in papers - not sure though so I won't post em here yet), but they still needed some jokes for a series of postcards on the subject. Here's what I came up with:

Thanks for doing this, Stephen! We found it really good as a couple to talk about this - Jo says it's pretty scary to tell someone you've just started dating that you're bipolar, but it's been worth the risk (18 months on and we're engaged!)

Hi Stephen - we're so glad you enjoyed making these illustrations for us (they've appeared in the Metro and The Sun and on our digital networks).
We absolutely love them, they're such an asset to our campaign. We also know they're changing people's lives for the better by opening up the subject of mental health in a non-threatening way, meaning that people can feel happy to find out more or seek help when they need it. Thanks for helping make that happen!

No thank you Abi - it was a wonderful project to work on and you were a delight to work with. I loved it.

And thank you Andy and KP - so glad it chimes with you Andy, that's the intended effect. Congratulations on your engagement.

These are fabulous. Would love some actual postcards to share. Will they be available do you think ?

I'm not actually sure Simon - I only have a handful myself. If you just email campaign@time-to-change.org.uk and ask I'm sure they'll send you some
