My wife is a vet, and I once helped her remove a sock from the guts of a dog in an emergency out-of-hours operation. The very next week the same dog came in and I had to help remove another sock. The second time, the phone call had come through while we were watching Groundhog Day on DVD!
Well it's not really relevant but I thought I'd share.
There's a lesson i that somewhere, but I can't think what :)
