Here Is A Cartoon That Basically Nobody On Earth But Me Thought Was Good
Here, in a spirit of pointless transparency, is a cartoon I did a few months ago which nobody I showed it to seemed to like. I mean really, nobody. Ho hum. I still quite like it, but then I would because I did it.
It's supposed to be a parody of those sort of 'in conversation' interviews you get with artists and suchlike, where their work is taken really seriously and everyone crosses their legs in the same way.

I like it. I know exactly the type of show you mean.
I'm glad! Humour's pretty subjective I think. Everyone I showed it to, all with good senses of humour, didn't like it, so I just assumed it didn't work. But I came back to it and was surprised I still liked it. But I guess cartoons need to work for more than a few people if they're to be published, sigh
I like it too.
Your "and everyone crosses their legs in the same way" observation is also rather brilliant. Hadn't ever occurred to me but instantly hits me as obviously true now I've read it.
Make that three. It's great!
I also rather like it : )
i like it but maybe because i know lewisham.
I love it (I wouldn't have posted if I didn't). I think the punchline ("Lewisham via the A402") - if you can call it that - is superb because of the specificity of it. I don't know Lewisham at all well, but I roughly know the sort of place it is and that line works so well. Frankly, you could have used where I live and it would have worked just as well.
Yeah Lewisham's in South London. I grew up near it in the equally dissable Penge but I'm not going to put badness out there about my own hood. Nothing wrong with Lewisham really though. But it fits the joke...
